We work closely with trusted local vets — Marion Animal Hospital, Schertz Animal Hospital, and Cibolo Small Animal Hospital. If your dog needs medical attention, you're contacted and consulted on the plan before we act. We're also fully insured through The Hartford, with $1M per occurrence and $2M aggregate coverage.

Puppies can start as early as 8 weeks, though 4 to 6 months is the sweet spot — the earlier we start, the better the result. For adult dogs, there's no upper limit.

We don't rule anything out up front. Every decision is made after the free consultation and a hands-on evaluation, so we can see what's actually going on before committing either way.

Yes, when they're the right tool for that dog — and always optional. Every behavior is taught first with food, toys, praise and marker training, so your dog fully understands the command before any tool is introduced. Both are communication devices, not punishment. The e-collar works like the seatbelt chime in your car: a low-level signal the dog learns to switch off by responding, which is what makes a reliable recall possible at distance. A prong collar spreads gentle, even pressure the way a mother dog corrects her pups, and it lets us use far less force than a flat collar would need. If you'd rather not use either, we'll tell you honestly what that changes and train without it.

Owners handle drop-off and pick-up. We think that's better anyway — you get to see exactly where your dog is staying.

Every board-and-train includes a 2-hour owner turn-over lesson before your dog leaves. After that you have Lifetime Alumni Status: free text and phone support, plus complimentary tune-up sessions, for the life of your dog.

Group classes require dogs at least five months old and current on rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Board-and-train dogs need current core vaccines.
